The Movie of the Year, Tales of the Arabian Nights Now Available!

Raging Stallion Takes Record 42 Nominations at Chicago's Grabby Awards!

San Francisco-based Raging Stallion Studios set a new record with a total of 42 nominations spread across nearly every category for the upcoming (Memorial Day Weekend) Grabby Awards. Handed out every year during IML, the Grabby Awards are the major awards celebration for the Gay Porn Industry.

Raging Stallion's Focus / Refocus (which was just picked up for Independent Film distribution) carried the flag with a total of over a dozen nominations, including in the Best Picture, Best Director Chris Ward, Tony Dimarco and Ben Leon), and Best Acting (Cole Streets, David Taylor, Steve Cruz, Bruno Bond) categories. Tony Dimarco's The Visitor also picked up nominations in all major categories, adding Logan McCree to the Best Actor list. Other films nominated were Caliente, Hard Friction, Nailed and Screwed, Stag Fight, Piss Off, Ink Stain, Fist Away, Fist my Butt, Menace, and Junkyard Fist Dogs.

Steve Cruz and Logan McCree were both nominated for Performer of the Year.

Studio head Chris Ward commented on the nominations: "We are really proud of our work in 2009-2010, and we are very happy that our movies were singled out for nominations. All the actors and our staff at Raging Stallion work very hard to make the best product possible, and we are really excited to have these nominations. We look forward to IML weekend!"

RSS Releases Web Trailer for Tales of the Arabian Nights!

Q & A With Alex Frietas

Q. How did you come to Raging Stallion?

A. After a long time searching the internet, I went to Rentboy.com and I saw the Raging Stallion Logo, so I applied to be a model. I was contacted by Kent Taylor who said that Chris Ward loved my abs!

Q. Tell us about those abs? How to you make it happen?

A. Well, I work out six or seven days a week when I am not shooting for Raging Stallion, and every workout has at least 1000 ab exercises using heavy weights. Using weights actually makes the ab muscles much thicker. Not all the guys have 8 packs like me, and the difference is that I work them all the time, every day. I also have a special diet that keeps off every bit of fat down there.


Q. Raging Stallion likes you hairy. In the past you have always shaved your torso. Does having a hairy body make it harder to see your muscle definition? Do you prefer hairy or smooth on yourself?

A. Back in the days when I was a professional body builder, to show more I used to shave. But after I spoke with Chris Ward, he asked me to let the hair grow. And now I love it! Now I never think about shaving any more.

Q. You have sex with both men and women in your private life. What's up with that?

A. I am a real bisexual. I enjoy sex with both men and women. Mainly, I like to fuck and fuck hard. All holes are fair game.


Q. You are one of the most crazy fuckers we have ever seen—how to you fuck so long and so hard?

A. I was in body building, and I trained to be a champion. I have many trophies from my body building. When I do something in life, I give it 100 percent--the best I can possibly be. Q & A with Francesco D'Macho

Francesco D'Macho and Wilfried Knight are two of the top porn stars of all time. Chris Ward considered it a major coup to be able to cast both men in his Arabian Nights. "Wilfried has been one of Michael Lucas' biggest stars and I want to thank him personally for allowing us to film Wilfried," noted Ward. "I thought he and Francesco would look great together!" Francesco, of course, has had a long career under Steven Scarborough as a Hot House superstar and now co-owns Staghomme.com with Damien Crosse.

Ward shot the scene between these to studs on the same set that he used for the classic Arabesque two way between Francois Sagat and Huessein--one of the greatest porn pairings of all time and the single scene that launched Sagat's amazing career.

"Wilfried and Francesco not only had great chemistry, but they also are experts at sex," said Ward. "It was a pleasure to direct them both and I am very proud to have had them participate in the biggest movie of my career!"

We caught up with Francesco during his recent trip to Brazil to have a short discussion about Tales of the Arabian Nights, his career, his partnership with Damien and other things.

Q Francesco--you have made a lot of movies and now have your own company! What made you decide to start Stag Homme with Damien? What is it like having your own porn company?

A I always been kind of bossy on set when I was working as an actor, and I was looking at every little detail and things in my opinion where done in a way I didn't agree with. On the other hand I was also watching and learning how porn movies are made by each of the different companies I worked for. Because of my stubborn and leadership-like personality it wasn't long before all these ideas about starting my own studio started popping in my head. One thing I learned is that very few people in this business are going to make things easier for you, or sending you the right direction. So everything I achieved at present day I did it myself (along with my partner in crime Damien Crosse of course) and that is something that gives me plenty of reasons to keep going and believe in my own way of making porn. I love to be in control 100% of the product Im delivering to my audience, from start to finish Im looking at all the different aspects of producing porn that is new and exciting and most important enjoyable to watch. We like to sell fantasies, each different from one another, it's always a new topic to explore and I like the challenge to take risks in an industry where almost everything has been done.

Q What is the craziest thing you have ever filmed?

A Public sex at 4 am in the neighborhood I live in Madrid and almost getting caught by the police. I remember the thrill of hiding in one of the dark corners and how happy we were when we saw the footage. It was very risky but well worth it.
Q You worked for many years over at Hot House as one of their top stars--what was your favorite Hot House shoot?

A I've been an exclusive for 2 years at Hot House at the very beginning of my career. I've been in the industry for a little less than 4 years, it has been a fast and intense ride so far. I loved being directed in those couple of years by Steven Scarborough one of the masters and pioneers of the porn industry. It's hard to pick a favorite shoot they all have been so different from one another. If I really have to pick one then it would be the one I started driving a silver corvette and ended up fucking in a pool under the scorching sun of California in one of the Trunks series movies..

Q You had a big role in Raging Stallion's Focus / ReFocus--that big orgy scene. What was that like to shoot? Talk about star power--it was you, Damien Cross, Steve Cruz, Angelo Marconi, and Wilfried Knight. Thats a lot of talent in one room!

A I think that was a very easy shoot, because everyone knew exactly what they were doing. I like to work with actors that have a distinctive character. It makes the overall scene authentic and unique. It is like you never know what's going to happen next. I hate watching porn that is predictable. And the last bits of that scene with a big oral gang-bang cum-shot...... so fucking hot!! But I don't want to spoil the fun so people have to watch it for themselves and see what happen.

Q What did you think when Chris Ward asked you to be in his new Arabian Movie? Are hot, hairy, mediterranean men your kind of guy?

A Yes and I'll tell you a little secret, Mediterranean and arab men are actually my only kind! So that was a big fantasy coming true. I visited a lot of Arab countries lately so Im a big fan of that culture in particular, I like how masculine and hairy Arab boys can be.
Q Your two way with Wilfried Knight is a spectacular scene! What was it like shooting with Wilfried?

A I've known Wilfried for many years, even long way before I started doing porn. I always wanted to hook up with him since the 1st day i got introduced to him. But reality was that he never gave me the time of the day. When I got offered to be in a scene with him I didn't know what to expect. Now I can say he is one of the most amazing people I met in the industry, very down to earth, sexy and sweet man. We got to know each other and started a beautiful friendship. I really think you can see what a good chemistry we had on set of the 2 scenes we shoot together. I hope the audience will enjoy watching as much as i enjoyed making those scenes.

Q Because the scene with Wilfried was shot on the same set as that very famous scene between François Sagat and Hussein (from the hit film Arabeque), Chris was kept calling you François during the shoot! How crazy was that?
A The crazy part is when I saw a ghost of Sagat wondering around the set. It was very distracting!!

Q We sure hope you are planning to come back to shoot more with RSS--what are your future plans?

A. Writing a book, getting a puppy, keeping traveling around the world scouting for fresh new talent for our movies, bringing Stag Homme Studios to porn stardom and making it one of Europe biggest studios next to my amazing Damien Crosse, keeping my partnership with Raging Stallion as our one and only incredible distributor for our DVDs as successful as it is.

From Chris Ward's production notes: "I found Aybars when cruising around on Cam4.com. He was a regular on there, so I knew he was an exhibitionist! I dropped him an email to see if he had any interest in doing a movie for us. Although he was from Munich, he looked very Middle Eastern and since I knew we were about to film Tales of the Arabian Nights, I thought I would see if he was interested. He responded immediately and let us know he was from Turkey. He had seen Arabesque and was very excited to come over and do the deed! Aybars is the standout discovery of this movie--his beautiful body, warm eyes, perfect cock, and wonderful personality make him one of my personal favorites."

Steve Cruz has been at Raging Stallion for many years now, and he is one of my personal favorite actors. He is of Portuguese descent, with strong north African heritage from the days when the Moors ruled the Iberian peninsula.

When casting, I thought he and Aybars would be perfect--both are distinctive in their looks and I always like to cast similar guys together. If figured that if you are into hairy studs, this will be a dream pairing.

A Q & A with Steve Cruz

We sat down over lunch with Steve Cruz, one of Raging Stallion's top superstars (and now top videographer) and talked about Tales of the Arabian Nights. Here are some of the things he said.

Q Why on earth would Chris Ward put you in Tales of the Arabian Nights? Could it be your dark, hairy Tail?

Yeah, I get typecast a lot! But don't start feeling sorry for me... look at the cast! Dark and hairy men from the middle east and all over the world. I was flattered to be included.

Q Ben Leon directed your scene with new comer Aybars. He is actually from Turkey--Chris found him on the web. How was it working with him? He seemed to do very well for a first timer!

Aybars is such a beautiful man. His seductive power is his eyes. They are hypnotic. He's a man of few words, soft spoken but when his dick gets hard there's no need to waste time on words. He was great, I enjoyed every minute. Its a sensual scene, we had great chemistry, a lot of passion. Fans of dark hairy men will really love it!

Q Tales of the Arabian Nights is being described as one of the hottest films ever made. Have you seen it yet? What are your thoughts on the whole "arabian" mystique as a sexual fantasy?

I've seen some of the scenes I worked on. Its a stunning film! The cast is amazing. The sets are decadent and the sex— It's pretty over the top. We take the Arabesque series to the next level. What do I think of the Arabian sexual mystique? I think the Hollywood version of the Arabian Nights is very sensual, sexy. If only real life were as much fun.

Q You also were pretty important on this shoot behind the camera! We hear Chris Ward has recently named you as his principal videographer! That's gotta put a grin on your face! What is it like shooting for Chris--we hear that although he claims to be nice, he really requires top notch work and gets it any way he can!

Yeah yeah, I know Chris is a task master but his films are the best! You have to work hard to be the best, the magic doesn't just happen. I love working with Chris! We have the same perspective on what hot sex is. He's also a great mentor, I'm learning a lot. It's a dream come true to be his videographer.

Q You filmed the behind the scenes and the solos for the special features for this project. Tell us about these.

In the weeks before the release, Hard Friction.com will be featuring the 45 minute film we shot behind the scenes. Its packed with sex and interviews with all the stars...
